Total Immersion Brush Cleaner

I must RAVE about this! So here we go...

What it is: A brush cleaning cup that has grooves on the bottom and little holders at the top to hold brushes in place if you want or need to soak them.

How you use it: Fill about a quarter of the cup (maybe a little more for face brushes) with your brush cleaner or water and soap (like I use), if you need to soak just tuck the brush into the peg that will hold it (there a few different sized pegs) if not just take the brush and start running it back and forth across the grooves at the bottom. You don't have to do it too much, just a few swipes gets the brush completely clean and makeup free. Rinse brush and set to dry. Also beforehand I sanitized it with hot water and alcohol and rinsed it out good. The holder with pegs is also removeable if you don't need it or it's in the way when cleaning face brushes.

Why I LOVE it: It's so much easier and faster than how I used to clean my brushes. I did the whole wet the brush, put some baby shampoo on it and worked it with my fingers until all the makeup came out, rinsed it all out and then set them down to dry. I can now say goodbye to raisin fingers and washing for 15 minutes!! I cleaned about 20 brushes in 5 minutes with this! I mean it doesn't get any faster than that. I'm so glad I found this and just wish I would have had it A LOT sooner.

Where I bought it and how much: Sally's beauty supply for $5.49 or $4.49 with your Sally's card. You can find it in the nail section, around where the nail file bins are.

A view from the top:
This is the pegs that are at the top of the cup to hold the brushes in place and down at the bottom are the grooves that you use to wash the brushes.

Yay for clean brushes! lol
