Drugstore Diva Item: Clean & Clear Blackhead

What's more embarrassing than the fact that I froze my gym membership for two months on December 23rd (I mean who DOES that? Maybe someone who takes up smoking on January 1?) The fact that you can see my blackheads when you do an extreme close-up of my nose. Charming, right?

Enter my new Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser ($20). I've been buying items since the dawn of TIME that claim to eradicate my lifestyle of blackheads. Major dollars down the drain. These don't work. Neither did this. These are decent. But the C&C does it THE BEST.

The gadget
(Tech-savvy Meghan would adore it!) uses a vibrating motion to exfoliate vile, dead surface skin, ridding your face of dirt and oil. The foaming medicated pads containing C&C's exclusive blackhead dissolving serum, penetrate your pores to reduce the number of blackheads. After cleansing, you'll SEE (and feel) a difference. The set contains the remover and 20 medicated pads. I use my remover twice a week. I'll surely be toting it along to my parents' house in Blue Bell, PA where tomorrow night through Sunday, I'll be spending the holidays suburban style. I love nothing more than wearing some sweats, eating at chain restaurants like Red Lobster (I'm an unironic member of their Fresh Catch Club Mailing List), and watching some really stu TV. On my list of stu shows is Whatever, Martha on the Fine Living Network. I KNOW. What even IS the Fine Living Network? It reminds me of The Office's Finer Things Club. Basically, the show is Martha Stewart's daughter watching MARTHA'S show and making fun of her. It's amazing, really. Thanks to Jim for introducing me to it!

What are your favorite unglamourous things to do over the holidays? Tell me in the comments!
