For Display AND For Use: Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream 1950s Vintage Set

I'll just say it: I LOVE VINTAGE PACKAGING. Especially '50s packaging.

Elizabeth Arden got it so right by dressing up their truly phenom Eight Hour Cream 1950s Vintage Set in retro-chic attire that's just crying out to be stored in a little clutch (to be held close to a poodle skirt, obv) and taken on a dreamy date to the malt shop.

The pair is sold as an online exclusive for $50 and is packaged in an Elizabeth Arden deluxe, red gift box. I've long been a fan of Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick, but never in a world had I had the pleash of using the Skin Protectant Cream. It's a more luxuriant alternative to Vaseline and it instantly smoothes, soothes, heals and protects flaky skin with its original formula of ultra-moisturizing petrolatum, protecting vitamin E and re-texturizing beta-hydroxy acid. I am loving slathering it on dry heels and wearing thin cotton socks overnight and waking up with fabulous-feeling feet.

It's also perfect in tiny amounts to use as a lip balm. I even glop more on to use as a gloss on top of a matte lipcolor. Lorraine Baines (later, McFly) of Back to the Future would surely rock it this way for "parking."

Be a cool cat, daddy-o,
Amber
